This style doesn't pass all 5 of my personal rules, because it has no back strap. Plenty of people with everyday sore feet find a cushioned slide like this comfortable. But with chronic, intense heel pain like mine, I wouldn't wear backless shoes myself. If that sounds like you, start with our everyday wedges.
